Abstract

The floods and landslides that occurred in early 2025 in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, caused serious damage to the Kandang Roda-Pakansari road section, particularly the shoulder, which suffered landslides, threatening the safety of road users. This situation directly impacted public mobility and social and economic activities in the surrounding area. This Community Service activity aimed to rehabilitate the affected road section to restore infrastructure function, improve traffic safety, and provide field experience for students. Implementation methods included field surveys, technical planning, rehabilitation using wire gabions, and evaluation and documentation of the activity. The results of the activity indicated the construction of a retaining wall approximately 23 meters long and approximately 7 meters high, improving road stability and user safety. A community satisfaction survey demonstrated a high level of satisfaction with the rehabilitation results and improved road comfort and accessibility. This activity demonstrated that collaboration between universities, local governments, service providers, and the community can provide effective solutions to post-disaster infrastructure problems and generate sustainable social impacts.
