Abstract

Housing development in the Dahayu Residence area is increasing rapidly along with the increasing demand for housing among urban communities. However, the suboptimal arrangement of housing clusters has led to problems such as internal congestion, a lack of green open spaces, and a lack of supporting public facilities. This study aims to design a re-arrangement of the Dahayu Residence housing cluster to create a comfortable, safe, and sustainable environment. The methods used include a survey of existing conditions, interviews with residents and developers, and spatial analysis using environmental design software. The findings identified several key issues such as an ineffective drainage system, narrow road layouts, and a lack of public spaces. Recommendations for the arrangement include widening internal roads, increasing green open spaces, adding public facilities such as playgrounds and sports areas, and implementing an environmentally friendly drainage system. The study's conclusion confirms that an integrated housing cluster arrangement can improve the quality of life of residents, support social functions, and preserve the environment in Dahayu Residence.
