The increasing number of motorized vehicles in Bogor City has resulted in increased congestion, fossil fuel consumption, and environmental degradation due to exhaust emissions. One effort to support sustainable urban transportation is the construction and maintenance of bicycle lanes as a facility for non-motorized vehicle users. This activity aims to improve the quality of bicycle lane infrastructure, support the use of bicycles as an alternative mode of transportation, and encourage the creation of a healthier and more environmentally friendly urban environment. The implementation method includes identifying existing conditions, constructing a 3 km bicycle lane in 2021, and maintaining it in 2024 through repainting markings and installing cold plastic markings on several priority segments with a total length of 3,060 meters. The results of the activity indicate that the maintenance work has been completed according to plan, with the quality of the markings meeting technical standards as indicated by a retroreflective test value above 300 RL and a skid resistance above 80. The existence of bicycle lanes provides benefits in the form of increased safety and comfort for cyclists, reduced motor vehicle emissions, improved public health through cycling activities, and savings in transportation costs. Thus, the construction and maintenance of bicycle lanes in Bogor City is one form of implementing sustainable transportation that provides benefits to the community and supports the realization of Bogor City as an environmentally friendly city.
