Tanjung Priok Port as the main port in Indonesia continues to develop its capacity and facilities to support the increase in national logistics flows. One of the strategic projects implemented is the construction of the Kalibaru 1B Terminal, which is designed to accommodate large ships and accelerate the loading and unloading process of containers. This activity aims to understand the planning process, construction implementation, and application of technology in the construction of a modern port terminal. The methods used include port design literature studies, field observations, analysis of engineering drawings and project specifications, and interviews with the implementation team. This project includes reclamation work, construction of a pier with a pile slab system, trestle structure, and terminal supporting facilities such as stacking yards and drainage systems. The results of the observation show that the work is carried out in stages with a strict quality and safety control system, and uses geotechnical and maritime technology to stabilize the reclaimed land. The conclusion of this activity states that the construction of the Kalibaru 1B Terminal is designed with a sustainable and efficient approach, and plays an important role in supporting the national logistics system. This project also provides valuable experience for students in understanding the application of large-scale maritime civil engineering in the port environment.
