The availability of clean water is a basic need for the community, especially in areas with limited access to water sources, such as in Kampung Baru, Sengkang. To overcome this problem, deep well drilling activities were carried out as an effort to provide sustainable clean water for local residents. This activity aims to understand the technical process of well drilling, analyze the hydrogeological conditions of the location, and evaluate the effectiveness of drilling results for community needs. The methods used include initial field surveys, observation of the drilling process using a rotary drilling machine, documentation of drilling activities, and taking water samples for quality testing. The results of the activity showed that drilling reached a depth of ± 60 meters, with soil formations dominated by layers of sand, clay, and gravel. The water discharge produced was quite stable, with quality that met clean water standards after going through a simple filtration stage. The conclusion of this activity is that well drilling in Kampung Baru, Sengkang, has succeeded in providing adequate access to clean water for the community and is an appropriate technical solution to overcome the clean water crisis in the area. This project is also a means of direct learning for students in the field of water resources engineering.
